The transgender community in Mexicali reached out to us for help because many of them are not working and are struggling to find funds to eat and make ends meet.
We pulled together some donations and were able to give them $200.00 and some members of the community offered to provide canned food and non perishable items.
@sofia.kahlo from Mexicali organized a food drive and was able to make bags for as many as 40 bags with provisions but the need is great and we hope to continue this effort until they are able to get back to work.
