Frequently Asked Questions

Q: When is the Center open?

A: The Center is open Monday – Friday at 10:00 AM, some weekends and most holidays. To find out what is happening at the Center, please go to Monthly Calendar. 

Q: Can I visit the Center and attend groups and get services even if I’m not from the Imperial Valley?

A: Yes, the Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center is open to all the community, including all the Imperial Valley and even Mexicali. We are here for everyone.

Q: Is there a cost to visit the Center or to join any group?

A: No.
Our services are free of charge unless indicated.

Q: Do you offer HIV testing?

A: Yes.
Please call the center to set up an appointment with Rosa. You do not need to say  why you need to meet with her. HIV testing is free of charge and confidental.

Q: Are straight and cisgender people allowed?

A: Yes.
All are welcome. We provide assistance to everyone, we are here to help our community.

Q: Do you provide services for the entire family?

A:Yes.                                                                                                                              We provide one-on-one counseling, support groups and LGBTQ+ education.
