IV LGBT Center Celebrated by EC Council for Pride Month
On June 18th, the founder of the Imperial Valley Resource Center, Rosa Diaz, talks to El Centro City Council about the LGBT community in El Centro and the difficulties of the Youth regarding this dilema

IV LGBT RC and other 27 organizations participate in Summer Resource Event
On July 25th, the Imperial Valley LGBT Resource center and other county agencies participated in the Summer Resource Event inside the Imperial Valley Mall. Led by Heidi robles the booth helped deliver information on the programs and services that are given in the Resource Center.

1st Queer Fashion Art Show Celebrated at the IV LGBT Resource Center
On May 17th 2024, Betty Bangs, queer Chicana artist from San Diego, in colaboration Imperial Valley LGBT Resource Center, and Jayson Hisel put together the 1st Queer fashion art show. Jayson Hisel, one of the owners of the Prestige Event Center granted the venue for the event.

IV LGBT RC and other 27 organizations participate in Summer Resource Event
On April 27th 2024, the San Diego State University-Imperial Valley campus helds their 2024 Lavender Graduation ceremony where 11 students walk up stage. Rosa Diaz, founder & Chief Executive Officer of the IV LGBT Resource Center, was on stage during the ceremony and placed the honorary sashes over every student’s head.
